Did you know that August 1st is the universal birthday for shelter and rescue dogs everywhere?
Often the actual birthday of shelter dogs and rescue dogs is unknown. To give these animals some much needed recognition The North Shore Animal League in the United States has named August 1st ”DOGust 1st – The Universal Birthday of Shelter Dogs.” We love this idea! Every dog deserves a birthday!
